Frank M. McDermott, Ltd. has ceased operations after 64 years of dedicated air safety research. This decision was taken lightly. It marks the end of an era filled with countless accomplishments, cherished relationships, and memorable experiences. Since our inception in 1960, we have strived for excellence in providing innovative and insightful consulting solutions in air safety research. Our journey has been made possible by the support and trust of our clients, whose businesses we have had the privilege to serve over the decades. Frank McDermott, 1921-2013
founded the firm in 1960 after retiring from a career with the Federal Aviation Administration where he worked as an Air Traffic Controller, a Supervising Controller and as the Research and Development techincal advisor to the FAA Administrator.
Michael McDermott
joined the firm in 1978 and retired in 2023.
